Snoop Dogg even has something nice to say about Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley for once.
When the Pittsburgh Steelers are losing, Snoop Dogg isn't happy. The famed rapper has a passion for his favorite NFL teams that often leads to him ranting on social media when they're not playing well.
Snoop also makes it clear when his team's play pleases him, and he did so after Pittsburgh's win over the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football. Though the game didn't start well for the Steelers, who quickly found themselves in a 13-0 hole, they did manage to score 24 unanswered points late in the second quarter to take control of the game.
Following the 30-23 win, Snoop praised the Steelers and even offensive coordinator Todd Haley. In case you've missed Snoop's previous rants, he is not a fan of Haley.
"Thing look like they're getting on a good foot," Snoop said during a phone call on Tuesday's NFL Total Access. "(Haley) looked like he was listening to me. He's starting to put Ben (Roethlisberger) in control running that hurry-up offense, so we lookin' pretty good against the Texans, and the Texans got a pretty good defense, so I was pretty excited about the win."
Snoop has blamed Haley for the recent demise of Pittsburgh, which includes zero postseason appearances in the past two seasons and a 3-3 start to this year prior to the win over Houston.
Now that the Steelers are 4-3 and look to be back in the playoff picture, Snoop is happy. If Pitt struggles again, though, particularly on offense, expect more rants from Snoop in the future.
