With all due respect to our Syracuse University site, Calgary Flames rookie Johnny Gaudreau is an absolute magician.
We've seen Gaudreau pull off an array of moves already in his short NHL career, but the move he pulled against the Nashville Predators on Friday was just incredible.
As he took the puck through the neutral zone, he froze Predators defenseman Anton Volchenkov and turned him into a virtual pylon as he rushed in against Pekka Rinne. Sure, Gaudreau didn't score, but an ankle-breaking move like that belongs in hockey's version of an "And1" video. Volchenkov owes Rinne lunch for bailing him out.
