Nnamdi Asomugha does not have a concussion after he collided with a teammate at Eagles practice.
Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha collided with teammate and safety Nate Allen on Monday at Eagles practice and Asomugha may have sustained a concussion.
Allen and Asomugha collided going after a pass during 7-on-7 drills. The two players hit helmet-to-helmet on the play in mid-air. Allen got up soon after the collision but Asomugha stayed down on the ground motionless for "several minutes" before being carted off the field. He will be given a concussion test in the locker room. There will likely be no status update on Asomugha until after practice.
Allen is practicing once again. Asomugha has been replaced by Joselio Hanson. Asomugha suffered a concussion last season against the Seattle Seahawks, but returned to practice just four days after the concussion occurred.
