Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau says big man Joakim Noah will play in Game 1 against the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night if his injured foot responds well during pregame warmups, according to Aggrey Sam of CSN Chicago.

The All-Star center has been suffering from plantar fasciitis most of the season.

Dealing with the painful foot injury, Noah has been hobbled in recent weeks and initially wasn't expected to play Saturday. However, he told ESPN Chicago's Nick Friedell that his foot was feeling better during an early warmup session and he plans on giving it a go.

If he does play, Thibodeau says he will do so under minute restrictions.

Since March 23, Noah has played in just three games, looking noticeably limited when he's been able to play. In the final two games of the regular season, Noah played a total of just 28 minutes, recording only six points, six rebounds and one assist with zero blocks.

In 66 regular season games, Noah averaged 11.9 points, 11.1 rebounds and four assists in 36.8 minutes per contest.
