The Anaheim Ducks and Detroit Red Wings are headed to overtime after the Ducks reeled off three consecutive third-period goals to tie Game 2 at 4-4.

It was an impressive comeback for the Ducks, especially after they shot themselves in the (webbed?) foot by giving up an early goal in all three periods. The Wings twice had three-goal leads in this one, but the Ducks never looked deflated.

The Ducks' comeback was powered by Ryan Getzlaf, Kyle Palmieri and Bobby Ryan, each at even strength -- a rarity for the power play-dependent Ducks. Ryan's goal came with just 2:22 left on the clock.

And it could have been worse for the Wings. During the Ducks' comeback, the magnificent Pavel Datsyuk came off the bench on a line change, sprinted into his own zone, hopped over a prone teammate and intercepted what would have been a golden scoring chance for Palmieri.

Watch, and admire:

Oh, go ahead, watch it from the other angle. (Datsyuk wears number 13.)

The teams are headed to overtime now. If the Wings lose this, they'll have blown a 3-0 lead and fallen behind 2-0 in the series.
