Liverpool knocked six past Newcastle last weekend to record a comprehensive 6-0 win, leaving them in seventh place. They're one place and five points behind their Merseyside rivals Everton, who are still in with a chance of qualifying for Europe.
Everton beat Fulham 1-0 in their last match, though are still three points in arrears of Tottenham Hotspur and a Europa League spot -- and that's with Spurs having a game in hand. The Toffees have only won four away games all season, and haven't done so since January. With Liverpool unbeaten in their last five, they'll be optimistic of picking up a win.
However, Brendan Rodgers is unable to select Joe Allen and Martin Kelly, who are both out for the remainder of the season. With his ten match ban in progress, Luis Suárez is also unavailable, while Jon Flanagan will likely miss out again with his knee injury.
Everton have almost a full-strength side available as they look to record their first win at Anfield since 1999. Only Darron Gibson is in doubt, though he could return from the knock which ruled him out of the Fulham victory.
