
Joe Pavelski opened the scoring for the San Jose Sharks in the first period with a perfect tip goal, and he scored his second goal of the game in the second with another beauty of a tip:
That goal put the Sharks up by two, but a few minutes later Vancouver's Alexandre Burrows would get his first goal of the post-season with some perfect assists from Daniel and Henrik Sedin:
With less than a minute remaining in the period, Joe Thornton was cross-checked by Jannik Hansen on a partial breakaway, so the Sharks will begin the final period with an abbreviated power play.
The Sharks lead 2-1 after two periods, and have the advantage in shots 23-22. They lead the series two games to none.
