Another wonderful night of playoff hockey unfolded Wednesday night, and every single one of the games was competitive, close, exciting, and fun. Not only that, but since three of the four games went to overtime, it was almost like we got to watch a whole EXTRA playoff game. And what could be better than that?

Let's get to the GIFs to recap the big moments you might have missed.

In New York, Braden Holtby kept the Capitals in the game, making 24 saves through two periods despite this demonstration of why goalies shouldn't wander.

One of the few shots that beat Holtby while he was in the net was this beauty from Carl Hagelin.

Joel Ward kept it close, assisting on Mathieu Perreault's goal after a nice waltz around a helplessly sliding Michael Del Zotto.

But the Rangers broke a 2-2 tie in the third period, then added this insurance goal on a give-and-go between Derek Stepan and Hagelin.

In Toronto, an otherwise great start to the game for the Maple Leafs turned ugly when defenseman Mark Fraser took a puck to the side of the head. Blood ensued, so be warned!

Mark Fraser was hit in the head with a puck, and ended up going down hard to the ice -- and later to the hospital.

And of course when someone bleeds all over the ice, you can't just leave it there.

Playoff hockey, everybody.

After Toronto took a 2-0 lead in the first, the Bruins came back and the teams finished regulation tied 3-3, before the hero David Krejci completed his hat-trick to win the game in overtime:

After that final goal someone sitting near April Reimer and Elisha Cuthbert said something rude, which caused the ladies to react thusly:

Over in Anaheim, both teams benefited from some good luck on their first goals. First Johan Franzen bounced one in off the defense.

Then Kyle Palmieri lobbed a shot that found its way through five bodies and behind Jimmy Howard.

Daniel Winnik committed Daniel-on-Daniel crime when he boarded Danile Cleary of the Wings.

Winnik received a five-minute major penalty for boarding, but the Ducks killed it off.

The Ducks and Red Wings would head to overtime tied at two, before Anaheim's Nick Bonino scored just two minutes in to give the Ducks the win:

Finally, in St. Louis, Jeff Carter opened the scoring in the game 14 seconds in to the second period. They could put this GIF in a museum, and title it "Why face-offs sometimes matter, and rebounds almost always do" :

The Blues tied the game in the final minute of regulation on a lucky shot from Alex Pietrangelo, but Slava Voynov gave the Kings the OT victory with this WEAK goal on Brian Elliott:
