The Sergio Garcia-Tiger Woods contretemps escalated quickly on Tuesday night when a racially charged "fried chicken" comment by the Spaniard surfaced in the press. On stage at the European Tour's awards gala, Sergio responded to a question about having dinner with Tiger at the U.S. Open by jokingly saying, "We will have him round every night. We will serve fried chicken."
This is the feud that doesn't end. It just goes on and on, my friends.
Hours after Garcia made the racially insensitive remarks -- joking or not -- about Tiger prior to this week's BMW PGA Championship, Woods took to Twitter Wednesday morning to offer his final take on the whole matter.

Oh, there will be regret, alright. Probably in the form of a suspension or fine for Mr. Garcia. Woods concluded:

Again, wholeheartedly agreed. It is incredibly unfortunate that what started as a minor tiff on the second fairway of The Players Championship between the two players has grown into a much more serious topic. While Sergio has already issued the suspected apology, it would appear the damage has been done.
