Former Detroit Lions wide receiver Titus Young is in a serious legal situation after being arrested multiple times in May.

Young is facing 11 charges in court, including four felony counts of burglary and a count of vandalism, among other things, according to the USA Today. Young has pleaded not guilty to every charge.

Young had also been arrested for DUI, but that has yet to be prosecuted.

It's been a sharp, swift decline for a receiver once looked upon as a key play for Detroit's future. Young came out of Boise State as a terrific prospect, only to be derailed by personality issues on and off the field.

Young's father claims that his son is suffering from mental-health issues, stemming from his brain being pressed into the front of his skull.

During his time with the Lions, Young sucker-punched safety and teammate Louis Delmas and reportedly lined up in the wrong spot multiple times on purpose because he wasn't happy with playing time. Young was sent home twice during his career with Detroit before he was finally cut in February.

The St. Louis Rams picked him up off waivers, but released him soon after. Young remains a free agent.

In two seasons, the 23-year-old Young has racked up 81 catches for 990 yards and ten touchdowns.
