The strength of the Kansas City Chiefs comes in the running game. That's not a secret. So it's not a surprise that the Atlanta Falcons recognize all the weapons KC has in the run game. Falcons defensive coordinator Mike Nolan, who was in Miami last year with Brian Daboll, talked about the Chiefs rushing attack with the Atlanta media.
"As we all know, McCluster was a running back before," Nolan said. "Now, he's a receiver. But you are right about McCluster and Charles. They both have outstanding speed. They change direction a lot. The play will be going one way and they'll decide to go the other way. You have to do a great job of everyone being disciplined on their cut backs as well.
"The difficult part of it not only those two guys, but you have [Peyton Hillis]. He's a down-hill, run you over guy. They've got a lot of weapons. ... the good thing is that there is only one ball. Only one guy gets to touch it at a time. They pose a problem, but I think our guys are excited about paying them."

That pretty much sums it up. With no fullback on the roster -- and two starting running backs -- I'll be curious to see how often Hillis and Charles line up in the same backfield. That can keep the defense on their toes with the inability to prepare for one runner or the other.
The Chiefs are very talented on paper. How will that translate to actual games?
