New England Patriots tight Aaron Hernandez was sued for allegedly shooting a man in the face in February, according to a lawsuit filed to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida by Alexander S. Bradley.
Bradley alleges in the document that Hernandez shot him during an argument at a strip club in Miami. The plaintiff lost his right eye and required multiple surgeries to reconstruct the right side of his face. He was seeking more than $100,000 in damages.
The lawsuit was dismissed four days later due to an error in paperwork, according to TMZ, but Bradley's legal team intends to refile it soon, on the heels of Hernandez' questioning in a homicide case.
TMZ reports should be taken with several grains of salt, but there's one thing we can be certain of -- Hernandez is not having a good week.
