Play was suspended Friday at the 2013 AT&T National after dangerous weather rolled through Bethesda, Md. When play was stopped at 2:44 p.m. ET, Roberto Castro and Jordan Spieth had already finished their rounds tied for the lead at 7-under overall. Castro shot 2-under on the day after entering Friday as the tournament leader at 5-under. Spieth shot 5-under on the front nine before finishing the day making par on nine straight holes.

Several players are in good position to make a run at the top of the leaderboard when play resumes Saturday. Andres Romero shot 4-under through 13 holes to move to 5-under overall, two shots back of the leaders, before play was halted. Ben Kohles (3-under overall through 12 holes), Bill Haas (3-under through 8) and Nick Watney (3-under through 8) could also find themselves in contention by the time Round 2 finishes up.

The tournament's bigger names still have yet to find a groove. Brandt Snedeker may still shake up the standings after shooting even par to stay at 2-under through two rounds. Masters winner Adam Scott, meanwhile, is hoping to slip under the cut. He is currently sitting on the projected cut at 2-over overall.
