To get to the heart of this, you've got to go backward a few hours. Garza did not appreciate when Eric Sogard of the A's laid a safety squeeze bunt down against him in the seventh inning. He realllly didn't appreciate it, as you can see, and barked a few words at Sogard to let him know. Those words were probably not "I asked him if there were any good places to eat in Oakland," as Garza joked with the press after the game (via the Dallas Morning News).
Garza also apparently did not appreciate when Sogard's wife made a comment on Twitter.
