The Pittsburgh Steelers are currently 7-point favorites and climbing over the Tennessee Titans this Sunday, according to Oddsshark.com. Some sports books have the Steelers as high as 7½ points over the Titans after opening the week as 6½-point favorites.
The movement of the line does not appear to be attached to any major news during the week. It's not surprising that the Steelers are relatively comfortable favorites, however. They are playing at home, and appear to be the stronger team coming off an 8-8 season compared to the Titans' 6-10.
The over/under for the game opened at 43½ points and has since dropped to 42 points. The total implies a low-scoring affair, which also shouldn't come as much of a shock. The Titans' are still led by an unproven Jake Locker, albeit behind a much improved interior offensive line, and the Steelers still have no running game to speak of.
Last year, the Steelers went 6-9-1 against the spread. The Titans were 6-10, and went 2-6 on the road. The Steelers were 3-4-1 at home.
