Oakland Raiders head coach Dennis Allen says that quarterbackTerrelle Pryor will remain the starting quarterback for next week's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Pryor won the Week 1 job after outplaying Matt Flynn in the preseason. He rewarded Allen's decision with a valiant effort against the Indianapolis Colts, setting a franchise record for most rushing yards by a quarterback. The Raiders lost, 21-17, but Pryor kept them competitive in what was expected to be blowout.
Fantasy impact: Pryor is still a raw passer, but his athletic ability should be enough to pad the stats for Oakland this season. He's not an every-week fantasy player, but if he keeps up his performance from Sunday the Raiders could surprise a few teams. Pryor is worth considering as a QB2 when the Raiders play the Jaguars this season. Jacksonville's defense is still a trainwreck and Pryor could have his best performance of the season here.
