He opened the year playing in the American Hockey League, and after dominating the league for 15 games (seven goals, 14 assists) the Red Wings finally called him up for their game on Thursday against Carolina as they hope to end a seven-game losing streak.
It took Nyquist 17 seconds to make an impact.
Yeah, so the Red Wings might want to consider keeping this guy around for a while.
