The Seahawks have apparently seen enough of Perrish Cox.

Well, that was quick. The Seahawks have cut cornerback Perrish Cox just one day after signing the former 49er, according to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport. Cox was signed to fill the void left by Walter Thurmond and Brandon Browner, who have both been suspended by the NFL.

Cox was released by the 49ers on Nov. 12 after spending two seasons in San Francisco. He has 80 tackles and an interception in three seasons in the NFL. A former fifth-round pick of the Broncos, the 26-year-old will now look for work elsewhere. It is unclear who will take Cox's spot on the roster following his release by Seattle.

The Seahawks plan on using Byron Maxwell opposite Richard Sherman moving forward this season. Jeremy Lane is also on the roster. With just three cornerbacks on the depth chart, the Seahawks are likely to add another player by Sunday.

The Seahawks host the Saints on Monday Night Football in Week 13.
