They say that shooting technical free throws is tougher than shooting regular free throws. The free throw is all about consistency, repeating the same form over and over and over and over again. And when taking a technical free throw, one thing is slightly different: there's nobody standing next to you on the line.
When Wesley Iwundu went to the line for Kansas State after a technical foul on Texas Tech, he tried to keep his free throw routine the same:
This is the old "Andrew Bogut has no friends" trick:
Unlike Bogut, Iwundu probably has friends -- they just weren't there because it was a tech.
The technical foul would actually be a huge turning point for K-State -- they trailed 42-34 to the Red Raiders at the time but went on a 20-5 run before winning 60-56.
