Seriously, has anyone heard from Jamie McBain?
The season is all but over for both the New York Islanders and Buffalo Sabres, but apparently nobody bothered to tell either team as their game on Saturday devolved into mean physicality.
It all started when Sabres defenseman Henrik Tallinder cross-checked Isles forward Colin McDonald for seemingly no reason whatsoever with less than a minute left in the second period.
It happened so far away from the play that the refs didn't see it and play continued. Eventually, players started noticing that McDonald and Tallinder were having an argument and everyone began to converge at the blueline.
Everyone except for Sabres defenseman Jamie McBain, who mysteriously disappeared at the side of this GIF.
All four participants in the shenanigans got sent to the penalty box for the rest of the period.
