Fan runs on ice in Toronto

How does a fan get on the ice at a hockey game? This guy figured out a way.

After their 5-3 loss to Tampa Bay on Wednesday the Toronto Maple Leafs are getting dangerously close to potentially losing out on a playoff spot. So one spirited fan decided to take matters into his own hands during a Toronto timeout on Wednesday and, through what I can only imagine was a great deal of effort and determination, jumped the glass and made his way onto the ice, sliding on his butt through the faceoff dot.

Neither broadcast showed his run for glory, but the Tampa Bay crew did capture the Lightning coaching staff laughing it up.

This still isn't as weird as the time Maple Leafs fans threw waffles on the ice, but it's certainly up there.
