Real Madrid won't be missing their star man for too long.

Carlo Ancelotti and Real Madrid's club spokesman gave the club some good news about Cristiano Ronaldo's knee injury in the wake of Los Blancos' Champions League quarterfinal first leg win over Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday. According to the head coach, Ronaldo's knee injury -- which led to the striker being subbed out in the second half -- is not serious.

It remains to be seen if Ancelotti decides to hold Ronaldo out of this weekend's match against Real Sociedad, but any long term fears about Ronaldo's health appear to be calmed. If Madrid's focus is indeed on winning a record 10th European Cup, making sure Ronaldo is healthy and ready for the return match against Dortmund would be a good move.

The only problem, of course, is that Madrid lack an obvious replacement for Ronaldo in the lineup. The most logical move might be to put Gareth Bale on the left and moving Angel di Maria to the right wing, but no doubt Ancelotti will have a plan in mind if needed.
