The Cleveland Cavaliers will have point guard Kyrie Irving back from a biceps injury.

Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving will return Wednesday night after missing eight games because of a biceps injury, and he will enter the starting lineup without a minutes restriction, coach Mike Brown told the media before tipoff.

Irving last played on March 16, logging 10 minutes in a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Cavs have gone 4-4 in eight full games without their starting point guard, but they've won four of the last five. Cleveland beat the New York Knicks, Toronto Raptors, Detroit Pistons and Indiana Pacers in their last five games while only falling to the Brooklyn Nets.

Guard Jarrett Jack stepped into the starting role with Irving out, and shooting guard Dion Waiters has picked up the scoring load to lead Cleveland (30-45) to a surge that has the Cavaliers only three games out of the eighth and final playoff spot held by the Atlanta Hawks. The Knicks sit just a game out of the Eastern Conference's final postseason spot.

Irving is averaging 21.2 points and 6.2 assists in 64 games for the Cavaliers this season.
