The Dolphins and the Bills will face off on Thursday night, with one team turning things around and the other continuing on their losing streak.
The Buffalo Bills host the Miami Dolphins in Week 11's Thursday Night Football game. Both teams are trying to snap losing streaks, with Miami having dropped their last two games and Buffalo on a three-game skid.
The Bills will have to make their effort without running back Fred Jackson, who sustained a concussion in the team's Week 10 loss to the New England Patriots. That leaves C.J. Spiller to carry the load. He's carried the ball 87 times for Buffalo this season, racking up 632 yards on a 7.3 yards per carry average. The Bills have leaned heavily on their rushing attack and are sixth in the league, averaging 143.1 yards per game.
That may play into Miami's hands. The Dolphins have the fifth-ranked run defense in the league, yielding an average of only 94.6 yards per game. Their weakness is against the pass, where they give up 278 yards per game. The Bills' pass defense isn't much better, giving up 246.3 yards per game, which should help rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill. He threw three interceptions in the team's Week 10 loss, and will now face a squad that only has six interceptions on the year.
