So, the story here is that someone was tasked with finding royalty-free images of English soccer players to put on this mug collection. A Google search of defender Chris Smalling turned up a photo of Barack Obama (not my experience when I tried to get the same result, but OK) and the person searching just used that photo without taking the time to look at it and recognize it as the incredibly famous leader of a pretty well-known country (royalty-free, in a way).
In any event, you can now buy any of the 2,000 English soccer team mugs with this guy playing the role of Chris Smalling:
