You don't quite get to see it, but you can imagine/hear it.
The A's called up Billy Burns from Double-A on Monday. This is important because he's at least the second-fastest Billy in the majors (after Billy Hamilton), and until we get a pay-per-view race, there's an argument that he might be the fastest. Here he is scoring from second on a sacrifice fly in April:
The 24-year-old is not only a complete sentence, but an accurate one. Unfortunately, he was hitting just .250 with a .333 on-base percentage in the Texas League, so he's not exactly a top prospect. He did have 51 stolen bases in 56 attempts, however. He should be fun to watch until Craig Gentry gets off the DL.
