The Atlanta Falcons travel to Tampa to take on the Buccaneers in an exciting NFC South battle with playoff implications.

The Atlanta Falcons look to avoid their second loss of the season and their second loss in the NFC South when they take on the red-hot Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Tampa, Fla. The is the first meeting of the season between the two teams; they will play again in Week 17.

The Bucs (6-4) have won four straight after a slow start and are right in the thick of the wild card race in the NFC. Last week Tampa needed overtime to top the Panthers, but got the job done in extra time, winning 27-21. The Bucs offense has been fearsome, averaging 28.7 points per game; good enough for fourth best in the NFL.

Atlanta (9-1) escaped with a 23-19 win over the Arizona Cardinals last week despite Matt Ryan's worst game of the season. Ryan threw five interceptions, but the Falcons were still able to gut out the win. The Falcons will need to perform better to knock off the Bucs on Sunday. With a loss they would only be two games ahead of Tampa in the NFC South with games against the Saints and Giants remaining, as well as a season finale rematch with the Bucs.
