XI actually means "11", not "hmmbllbllhmmmmm."

The preseason is preseason for announcers, too. For example, for Vikings broadcaster Paul Allen, normally a radio guy, but doing TV for the preseason: (Via @cjzero)

There's a lot of things that could've prevented this from happening:

1. Basic knowledge of Roman numerals: Sure, Roman numerals are outdated -- like, several thousand years outdated -- but still, "XI" isn't the hardest. Ten, plus one.

2. Know which Super Bowl the Vikings played in: You're the Vikings announcer, Paul! They've only been to four!

3. Just don't say "sdjlk;ajsdl;kjdsaf;lkjadsf"

Better luck next time!
