Yasiel Puig breaks his bat on a check swing

We are used to Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig doing things out of the ordinary, but on Friday night against the Brewers he did something out of the ordinary even for him. Batting against left-hander Zach Duke in the seventh inning, Puig checked his swing on a pitch, and even though the bat never touched the ball, Puig was gripping the bat so hard that the bat broke.
