The Ravens-Chargers game will be blacked out in San Diego.

Sunday's game between the Baltimore Ravens and San Diego Chargers in San Diego will be blacked out on television in California. Aaron Wilson of Ravens Insider reported on Twitter on Thursday that roughly 9,000 tickets were still available.

The game will still be shown in Maryland and other local markets on CBS. The NFL reserves the right to black out markets that don't sell out home games 72 hours prior to the game's kickoff.

It would seem fans in San Diego have grown disenchanted with a team that perpetually performs below expectations. The Chargers currently rank 25th in the NFL in attendance per game, drawing an average of 61,634 fans per game, or about 86.5 percent capacity. That ranking will likely go down should the Chargers continue to play poorly and miss the playoffs once again.

The Baltimore Ravens (8-2) and San Diego Chargers (4-6) are set to kick off at 4:05 p.m. ET on Sunday.
