The Kansas City Chiefs official injury report for Carolina Panthers week has been released and we have the same five names on there as there has been all week. No players have been ruled out yet, with three of them listed as questionable.
Here's the full injury report for the Panthers game:
Probable: Dexter McCluster
McCluster went down with a head injury last week (which I'm assuming is the Chiefs code-word for concussion). He made good progression this week going from not practicing on Wednesday to a limited practice on Thursday and then a full practice on Friday. He will play.
Questionable: Branden Albert, Tamba Hali, Ryan Lilja
Lots of questions here. Albert seemed very questionable for this game. He missed last week's game and rookie Donald Stephenson did a good job replacing him. I wonder if that will factor into the decision to play Albert.
Hali has a knee injury. He didn't practice on Wednesday and Thursday but did some on Friday as he was listed as limited.
Crennel seemed to indicate that Lilja would probably play. He missed some practice last week but still played. I'd expect to see him out there.
Doubtful: Kendrick Lewis
Lewis didn't practice at all this week. He hurt his other shoulder, not the same one he had offseason shoulder surgery on. He's probably not going to play.
