The Los Angeles Kings may get Mike Richards back for Game 5 of the Western Conference finals. The center participated in the Kings' morning skate on Saturday, giving him a chance to play tonight.
"It's possible, it's 50-50," Los Angeles head coach Darryl Sutter said after morning skate (via ESPN's Pierre LeBrun).
Richards has been out since suffering a concussion in Game 1 of the series on a hit from Dave Bolland. He had five points in each of the Kings' first two series of the playoffs and with Los Angeles facing elimination, down 3-1, they could use Richards.
"It's progress," said Sutter. "(But) I don't want to say anything, I said it last time prior to Game 2 that he was playing and then he didn't ... we nearly had to make more than one change. I'll just stay away from it and follow (NHL concussion) protocol."
Tyler Toffoli replaced Richards in the lineup and has fared well, notching a goal and three assists in three games.
