New York Mets pitcher Matt Harvey left his team's game against the Miami Marlins on Saturday afternoon after seven innings due to lower back tightness, the team announced.

Harvey allowed one earned run on six hits and struck out six batters before being pulled after 93 pitches. He'll be rewarded with a no-decision for his efforts, however, as the Mets and Marlins were tied at one run apiece when he was relieved.

Harvey entered the game undefeated at 5-0 with a 2.17 ERA and 89 strikeouts in 83 innings pitched while walking just 19 batters on the season. The Mets would be in a precarious position if Harvey misses any sort of time then, obviously, as the rest of New York's starters are a combined 8-23 with a 6.09 ERA.

As far as Harvey's competition was concerned, Marlins' hurler Jose Fernandez went toe-to-toe with Harvey on Saturday, holding the Mets to one run on three hits in six innings, striking out seven batters in the process.
