Oh, Bryz. Never change.
At this point we kind of feel bad poking fun at Minnesota Wild goalie Ilya Bryzgalov. The poor guy got thrown out of Philadelphia and is still endlessly mocked for his space comments on HBO's 24/7 a few years ago.
But he keeps putting himself in the spotlight with wacky plays that don't happen to anyone else. Take his goal allowed to Rich Clune on Sunday night. Bryzgalov went to play the puck in the corner, saw a gaggle of Nashville Predators approaching along the wall and tried to put on the brakes.
Whoops.
